We may not have had as much notice, but we pulled off the 2nd Annual SluttyVegan ATL stop at EAT36STN as part of the annual @tulsahbcu Send-off Weekend. The entire weekend was fantastic, and we`re just excited to have been a part of it. Despite the heat, shorter lines meant quicker service and more fun.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen, especially Reverend Kellum, who got our sign looking good for her moment, Alvin Muhammad, who got the grass cut around the park to make sure we looked presentable for our guests, and of course, @bw3031 who despite being a one-man team, always thinks about how North Tulsa as a whole can share in this cultural experience. Shout out to Jubilee Concessions Food Truck for keeping us hydrated and cool with those amazing Pineapple Smoothies.
Thanks to Sarah Tulsa Vegan Guide for creating such a wonderful vegan community that we could tap into. It was so great to see so many familiar and new faces. Even with the short notice, y`all showed up and showed out! As always, thank you to @crossovercommunityimpact for allowing us to continue to utilize the space. Now, we`re ready for the temps to cool off so we can have more food truck days at EAT36STN.
